Tour FAQ's

20 paying children over 18 months old.

All of our activities still run when it is raining. Contact us at least 24 hours before your booking if you are considering not going ahead because of the weather and we can reschedule you (subject to availability). We recommend in winter to let your guests know to prepare for cold and rain – so bring rain jackets and covered shoes/gumboots. The kiddies love the day regardless! Please note, your $60 deposit is non-refundable with cancellation within 14 days.

Yes, your deposit is taken off your payment on the day. It is non-refundable if you cancel your booking within 4 weeks of your booking date - refer to your Booking Confirmation.

This is dependant on your total numbers, how busy we are with public on the day and if/when you are wanting to have breaks.
As an estimate, a group of 20 pax would complete all the activities once with the Farmer in approximately 1.15 hours.
A group up to 60 pax would take approximately up to 2 hours and a group up to 100 pax, would take approximately up to 3 hours.  Groups are welcome to make use of the barn in between and after their tour to have their lunch.

No, our ratio numbers that we provide being 1:3 for Preschools/Kindergartens and 1:4 for Schools/Holiday Programmes are not a requirement that we need you to adhere by for supervision purposes. Your company must comply with your specific adult to child safety ratios during your visit here.  Our ratios are based on pricing schedule. So for a 1:3 ratio, this means you receive 1 adult free per every 3 paying children etc.

We like to keep our group sizes small and manageable to ensure the children receive adequate one on one time and reduced wait times for the activities.
Large group numbers will be split into smaller subgroups. We like to keep each group ideally under 20 children.
So if your group is for example, 80 children, we would split you into 4 groups.
Our farmers can do this on the day when you arrive, or you can arrange your own sub groups prior to your arrival. If this is your preference, please check with Reception when making your booking as to how many we will split your group numbers into.
